About Rodney Koop

Rodney Koop founded The New Flat Rate in January 2011 and currently serves as CEO, where he is responsible for product advancement strategy and industry outreach. Over the last three decades, Mr. Koop has founded and sold HVAC, Electrical and Plumbing service companies. He is a master electrician holding 10 or more unrestricted electrical licenses. Rodney has helped to write and qualify exam questions for state boards in several states. He has written the electrical code in 13 states, written dozens of articles, and is a seasoned motivational speaker who challenges all audiences to utilize their brains in creative ways for growing their companies.
